I recorded the whole box break of 18 packs and said quite a bit about the cards within the video, so if you want to know more... watch it. If not, that's okay too because I scanned the vast majority of the awesome cards I got from this box below.
The box contained some very standard 2015 Allen & Ginter product like silly buybacks. I got two.
Oh... and some not so silly mini inserts! We always appreciate more of these!
I'm pretty sure I got extremely lucky pulling two hits out of this box... either way, I already have the Puig so that has become trade bait.
Here's the real reason I purchased these boxes. The base cards. I scanned a smattering of them, but I think they're really awesome looking. They make the card subject really stand out. Very well done.
Whenever you don't get a mini insert, you get a black mini that looks just like these new black background base cards.
...and the 3 A&G back versions.
Last but not least, you have 1:10 odds to get a white mini. They aren't numbered, but they certainly are rare. Based on hearsay around the card collecting universe, these probably have a print run between 10 and 20 (however, they aren't actually serial numbered).
Again, if you're looking to hear more of my opinion on these, its in the video. Just wanted to make sure I got a few scans up for those who don't have the time to watch videos (especially since these cards are so unique). What do you guys think??? Better than this year's base design??? How about these white/silver minis???
I really dig the look, much better than this year's base design. Also, if you wouldn't mind setting that Puig relic aside for me I'm sure I can come up with something to send your way in the near-ish future.
